Lusaka Businessman Sedrick Kasanda’s Lawyer, Nkula Botha, has wondered what the state is trying to do in his client’s case. On Monday, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said Kasanda and his co-accused had been formally arrested and charged with seven counts of obtaining money by false pretence and possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime. Six of the charges were identical to the ones which were on the initial indictment in the case which the state entered a nolle in.
