SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti yesterday suspended Lumezi Independent Member of Parliament Munir Zulu for seven sitting days for wearing a chitenge in the House. Speaker Mutti said during the period of his suspension, Zulu would not enter the National Assembly premises or participate in any business or activities of the House. “I am sure the Honourable member for Lumezi knows the dress code and yesterday Honourable members were guided, so the Honourable member for Lumezi is deliberately defiling the order and the guidance that was given yesterday.
