SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has called on women parliamentarians to work together and motivate other female politicians to get elected to Parliament in an effort to reach the 30 percent female representation target. Speaking when she hosted the inaugural breakfast meeting for female Parliamentarians ahead of the International Women’s Day Commemoration which falls on March 8, Speaker Mutti bemoaned the current 15 percent women representation in Parliament.
