TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) says it is excited about the launch of the Online Anonymous Whistleblower System (OAWS) as it will enable the public to participate in the fight against corruption. Last Thursday, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) launched the OAWS, which aims to protect the identity of whistleblowers. During the launch, ACC Vice Board Chairperson Ireen Lamba said whistleblowers have often been discouraged from reporting suspected corrupt practices due to fear of victimisation.
