The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) working with The African Report has published a dossier alleging that former president Edgar Lungu is linked to corruption activities involving a luxurious golf estate in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Dubbed the “Swazi Secrets: Institutionalised fraud in Southern Africa”, the report also alleges that several other high profile figures in Eswatini are involved in fraudulent activities, along other political leaders in Southern Africa.
