Dr Henry Mbushi, who resigned from his position as ACC commissioner, has been reported to the Law Association of Zambia by his former client, Job Mabuti, for withholding the K2 million awarded to him as false imprisonment damages. And Dr Mbushi, who tendered in his resignation letter to President Hakainde Hichilema earlier this week, says he has rescinded his decision to resign. Dr Mbushi was sued last year for allegedly squandering a client’s money in a matter in which Mabuti had been awarded K2 million as false imprisonment damages, paid to HBM advocates, a firm managed by the said ACC commissioner.
