HOME Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary Joseph Akafumba says the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) has to restart its registration process because its first application expired. But National Democratic Congress (NDC) faction leader Saboi Imboela says UKA will continue with its operations with or without being registered. Speaking on ZNBC TV1 recently, Akafumba explained that the reservation for the name “UKA” at the Registrar of Societies had expired on March 15, 2024. “The state of UKA is as stated by the Honourable Minister when he held a press briefing.
