TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (T-IZ) says the Energy Regulation Board must explain how the decision to increase electricity tariffs was reached, given its implications on citizens, coupled by the allegation that government was unaware. And TI-Z says ERB must give the public assurance that the decision to send its Director General, Yohane Mukabe on forced leave and the vote of no confidence passed in the board chairman, Reynolds Bowa was done within the law.
