DRAMA has rocked Miles Sampa’s PF faction as his former secretary general, Morgan Ng’ona, pulled the trigger on the Matero MP’s presidency last night. In a move straight out of a comedy show, Ng’ona, who was recently dismissed as secretary general, called a press briefing at Mass View Lodge and expelled Sampa from the party. Ng’ona then appointed Mafinga MP Robert Chabinga to replace Sampa as party president in an interim capacity. Chabinga had also been a casualty of Sampa’s recent changes to the faction’s structures, which included dissolving the central committee and appointing himself acting secretary general.
