THE Electoral Commission of Zambia has announced that the total number of registered voters has increased to 7,073,513 from 7,036,862 recorded in February 2024. Speaking during the certification of the voter register, Tuesday, ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro said a total of 36,651 voters registered between January 2023 and February 2024 had been incorporated into the latest certified voter register. “From January 2023 to February 2024, a provisional total of 37,702 Individuals were registered as voters. In addition, 18 appeals were sustained by the Commission bringing the total provisional number of registered voters to 37,720.
