THE Auditor General’s Report on the Audit of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the financial year ended December 31, 2024 has revealed that as at 31st October 2025 the local authorities only collected K63,798,269 as loan repayments from the expected total repayments of K375,336,251. The Report also indicated four local authorities made payments of bursaries in amounts totalling K376,618 to various training institutes for 27 students who were not on the approved list. The Report further disclosed that seven local authorities made 186 transactions in amounts totalling K23,746,199 which were not supported with relevant documentation such as cash receipts, invoices and authority letters.
