THE Zambia National Service (ZNS) yesterday witnessed the passing out of its largest number of recruits in a single intake, when more than 1,500 personnel from Intake 27 of 2024 graduated at the ZNS Kabwe Training School. ZNS Commander, Lt Gen Eng Maliti Solochi II, has warned the new soldiers to avoid partisan politics as the country draws closer to the General Election this year. Lt Gen Solochi says the soldiers’ loyalty is to the Republican Constitution, the Republican President, and the people of Zambia. Meanwhile, Minister of Defence Ambrose Lufuma says the recruits were drawn from civilian employees of the Zambia National Service who had served for many years.
