PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has urged the French private sector to invest in Africa and help create opportunities for its people. The President has also urged investors to take full advantage of the policy and legal reforms his government has introduced across various sectors. Meanwhile, Kenyan President William Ruto says Africa cannot trade effectively within itself if its economies remain disconnected. The Heads of State were speaking at the inaugural Africa Forward Summit in Kenya yesterday. In a statement issued by State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka, President Hichilema highlighted reforms in the energy sector, which he said paved the way for investment.
