TWO people have died after they were hit by a runaway train wagon in Kafue. The deceased were identified as Queeniva Musonda, 32, of Lumumba Compound and Dyson Simpamba, 58, all from Kafue. In a joint statement, Zambia Police Service spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi and Zambia Railways Public Relations Manager Sombe Ng’onga stated that preliminary findings suggested that the individuals were walking within the railway reserve strip adjacent to the railway line.
