Other beneficiary schools include Kamanga Primary School, Mahatma Gandhi Combined School, Mtendere Primary School, Mumana Primary School, Munali Boys Secondary School, Munali Girls Secondary School, among others.

According to the council, the procurement and distribution of the desks are expected to enhance teaching and learning by providing adequate classroom furniture for both teachers and pupils.

“The desks are being distributed to various schools across the constituency as part of the 2026 CDF implementation program. This initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to ensuring no child learns while seated on the floor, in support of the Free Education Policy,

now enacted into law. The procurement and distribution of the desks aim to enhance the educational experience by providing a conducive teaching and learning environment for teachers and learners, respectively. The initiative is also expected to boost regular school attendance by ensuring pupils have adequate classroom furniture, improving motivation and overall learning outcomes,” stated the council.
