GOVERNMENT has launched the National Youth Internship Programme, an initiative aimed at equipping young people with workplace experience and strengthening employability. Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe says the programme will allow government institutions to provide internship opportunities to youths across the country for one year. He adds that the programme, which is scheduled to commence on October 1st, will benefit at least 5,000 youths.
