LUSAKA Mayor Chitambala Mwewa says a combined team of Lusaka City Council and Zambia Police officers will be deployed on Saturday to enforce the removal of street vendors from the streets. Meanwhile, Mwewa says there are more than 14,000 trading spaces across 28 markets ready to accommodate the over 8,000 street vendors. On Wednesday, Mwewa gave vendors 72 hours to vacate the streets.
