TRANSPARENCY International-Zambia says the dismissal Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr George Magwende has sent a message to citizens that President Hakainde Hichilema means his word when he says he will fight past, current and future corruption. Mr Sampa Kalungu, who is TIZ president, notes that there have been some reports of corruption involving ministers in the UPND government which have not attracted the Republican President’s attention, and hopes the Magwende dismissal marks the beginning of the real fight against corruption.
