The decision by the Electoral Commission of Zambia to bar Honourable Joe Malanji from standing in Kwacha Constituency and Honourable Bowman Lusambo from contesting the Kabushi by-election comes as a shock to many people, including ourselves. As we have stated before, if the issue with Honourable Joe Malanji is that he does not posses a grade 12 certificate, then we do not understand how he was able to take part in the 2021 elections.
