Indeed it is true that news sometimes is stranger than fiction. About two days ago it was reported by some not so credible blogs that the Drug Enforcement Commission had issued a seizure notice on a property called Crest Lodge located in Ibex Hill in Lusaka. It was reported that the seizure notice was addressed to former president Edgar Lungu who was the purported owner of this business according to the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC). It was strange that this development was not formally announced by the Commission as it has been the case in the past on such matters.
