FIFTY eight years ago on this day, our country gained Independence from British rule with late comrade Dr Kenneth Kaunda bestowed with the responsibility to lead a population of just over nine million people. Since then, we have grown from strength to strength under the leadership of six presidents. When we talk about Independence, it is hard to ignore the immense contribution that our fallen founding father made to our nation and how many lessons we can draw from his style of leadership.
