A LOT of people are surprised to hear the statement from former Home Affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo who has questioned the police for misinterpreting the Public Order Act and stopping people from holding public gathering without a ‘permit’. Honourable Kampyongo who is also a lawmaker for Shiwang’andu Constituency recently expressed surprise that police are still talking about permits when people only need to inform the authorities about the activities they wish to hold.
