THE arrest of Auditor General Dick Sichembe makes sad reading. According to the Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr Sichembe has been arrested and charged for various offenses including corruption, obtaining goods by false pretenses, conspiring to defraud the government and theft by servant. We are told that Dr Sichembe committed these alleged crimes from the time he served the country as Accountant General under the Ministry of Finance up to his current position.
