RICHARD Nephew, the US Department of State Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption says transparency and access to information are key in identifying and fighting corruption. Speaking during a press briefing, Friday, Nephew observed that holding corrupt officials responsible before the law was crucial in rooting out corruption. He added that it was impossible to successfully fight corruption overnight.
