WE wish to end this instalment of our editorial opinions by pointing out that in saying the ruling party is compiling lists of civil servants who will be kicked out for celebrating Mr Brian Mundubile’s self-declared victory the UPND Lusaka Province Chairperson Obvious Mwaliteta is arrogating to himself powers he simply does not have. Mr Mwaliteta is not the appointing authority for civil servants, he is not the Public Service Commission, he is not a disciplinary tribunal, and he is not the law. Whatever frustration he may have with public officers, he cannot convert partisan anger into a parallel disciplinary system.
