ZESCO managing director Victor Mapani has announced that load shedding has ended, attributing the development to rising water levels in Lake Kariba and increased power generation output. And Mapani says Zesco’s debt burden has been reduced from US$3.5 billion to US$3 billion within a period of 12 months.
