SMALL and Medium Enterprises Development Minister Elias Mubanga says the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission is changing the narrative for non-performing loans. Last week, the National Assembly was shocked to learn that CEEC was sitting on K283,198,666 locked in non-performing loans. Asked what the parent ministry, working together with CEEC, was doing to change the narrative, Mubanga said defaulters were already coming forward to restructure their loans. “We are actually changing it, it has even changed.
