NKANA independent member of parliament Binwell Mpundu spent over four hours at the police headquarters in Kitwe yesterday where he appeared for questioning before the anti-robbery squad. And Mpundu’s lawyer Noel Simwanza says police have once again recorded a statement from the Nkana lawmaker concerning certain facts he came across in his work in the constituency. In May this year, Mpundu appeared before the police to help with investigations to ascertain his role in a criminal trespass matter involving some youths in his constituency who were digging up scrap metal in an area belonging to KCM.
