THE National Council for Construction (NCC) has issued a Stop Order against Alasia Building Construction Limited, a company contracted by Lamasat International for the on-going construction works at Carousel Shopping Centre in Lusaka. This comes after NCC and the Zambia Institute of Architects visited the site and discovered that the contractor engaged was unregistered, lacked provisions for ensuring the safety of workers, among other violations.
