ZAMBIA’S quest for a maiden World Cup qualification has suffered an early setback after the Chipolopolo Boys were defeated by Niger in Morocco last evening. After a thrilling 4-2 victory over Congo Brazzaville on Friday, more was expected from the Avram Grant-tutored team but things turned sour on a night to forget. A poor first half showing proved to be the Chipolopolo’s undoing as they allowed an early goal from Amadou Moutari to unsettle them on the way to a 2-1 away defeat.
