THE U17 girls national team has progressed to the next round of the 2024 World Cup despite losing 1-0 to Uganda at the at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende. Uganda won the game through Sylvia Kabene’s 73rd minute goal, but Zambia’s 2-0 home win meant the former lost the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
