HEALTH Minister Sylvia Masebo has revealed that 61 out of 74 containers of medication which were supposed to be stored at ZAMMSA warehouse were diverted to a private warehouse without the knowledge of the Ministry and the ZAMMSA board. Masebo also revealed that the ministry and the board only became aware of the consignment on Friday last week despite some of the medication being stored at the private facility since January. Meanwhile, Masebo says her ministry has engaged security agencies to investigate the matter as she struggled to explain the reason for the diversion.
