MINISTRY of Local Government and Rural Development Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Nicholas Phiri has warned that government will sort out all officers whose CDF expenditure remains extremely low. And Phiri says since January 2024, over K20 million has been disbursed to 116 local government authorities for health services. Meanwhile, Local Government Service Commission Chairperson Ackson Sejani says two principal officers have been downgraded after failing to impress in some six-monthly appraisals conducted in six provinces so far.
