THE Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR) has implored Zesco to rework its emergency tariff hike proposal having listened to different stakeholders and resubmit it to the Energy Regulation Board for consideration. In an interview, ZIPAR Interim Executive Director Zali Chikuba advised Zesco to study the dynamics of the markets that it served so that it did not kill the proposal that could help the country during the energy crisis. “Going forward I still implore Zesco to go back, rework the numbers and come back and present that proposal again after having listened to what people said [and] re-present the proposal for consideration.
