Despite the government’s promises to protect clinics and hospitals from loadshedding, health centres like Chaisa, Kabwata, and Kalingalinga are struggling in the dark. During a recent visit, it was evident that these clinics are not only grappling with power outages but also having erratic water supply. This situation has left many patients in a difficult position, as they are either referred to other hospitals with power or are asked to return after power is restored.
