TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) Chapter president Priscilla Chansa has expressed concern over the growing signs of intolerance to divergent views and constructive criticism from the UPND leadership. And Chansa says having only one case ending in conviction out of 102 cases disseminated by the Financial Intelligence Centre brings into question the centre’s effectiveness and the quality of its disseminations to law enforcement agencies. Meanwhile, Chansa says the excessive focus on civil forfeitures, coupled with limited prosecution of cases, should not be the foremost approach in the fight against corruption.
