THE Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) yesterday pounced on illegal drug stores and arrested 13 suspects for operating without a license. In an interview, ZAMRA Senior Public Relations Officer Ludovic Mwape said the operation was conducted in Matero and Mandevu constituencies, resulting in the closure of 13 outlets. “We conducted operations to curb the illegal sale of medicines and allied substances in unauthorised drug stores in two constituencies, Matero and Mandevu.
