HEALTH Minister Dr Elijah Muchima has revealed that the country recorded 26 new confirmed cases of Mpox between April 17 and May 12, 2025. Dr Muchima says six new cholera cases, linked to the use of untreated borehole water in proximity to sewer lines, were also detected in Kabwe District. And Dr Muchima says government is looking for manufacturers of drugs within the country, as Zambia has 1.4 million people on ARVs.
