POLICE in Lusaka are investigating an incident at Eden Queen Carwash in Chalala, where suspected tear gas was discharged during New Year celebrations. During the New Year’s eve countdown, several individuals sustained injuries after unidentified persons threw a tear-gas canister into the packed establishment. The incident, which occurred during the celebrations, caused a stampede and left some patrons choking while others collapsed.
