EMPLOYEES at Farrukh Manufacturing Limited in Lusaka have accused their employer, Farrukh, and his Russian partners of sexual and verbal abuse. In response, Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba has urged the workers to report the alleged sexual abuse to the police. Meanwhile, Tambatamba has suspended operations and charged the company K80,000 for violating overtime and terminal benefit regulations. The alleged abuse was disclosed when Tambatamba and ministry officials toured the Russian-owned company earlier this week.
