HERMIONE Cronje, a financial crimes specialist from South Africa, says Zambia is leading in fighting economic and financial crimes. And Chief Justice Dr Mumba Malila has noted that many accused persons have mastered the art of delaying proceedings as much as possible when the odds are against them, with most feigning illness to escape conviction. Dr Malila, however, says these ‘Fabian tactics’ have been exhausted, and court proceedings will now move more smoothly.
