MATERO PF MP Miles Sampa has written to the Kabwe High Court seeking an order for alteration of parties in a matter where Morgan Ng’ona, in his capacity as PF faction Secretary General, had sued Brenda Nyirenda in her capacity as the then acting Secretary General of the party. Sampa has told the court that he is the new Secretary General of the Patriotic Front. In November 2025, Kabwe High Court Judge Kelvin Limbani granted an ex parte injunction in favour of faction president Robert Chabinga, preventing Nyirenda and her agents from holding a general conference, using the PF secretariat, or any party materials.
