THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has denied seizing motor vehicles belonging to late former president Edgar Lungu, saying the six it has secured were found abandoned at a house in Lusaka’s Libala area. However, lawyer Charles Changano, representing Lungu’s son Dalisto, has insisted that the seized vehicles belong to his client and are part of a court judgment. In February, Dalisto had appealed a High Court ruling that ordered the forfeiture of over 70 vehicles and 21 properties belonging to him. In an earlier interview, Changano claimed that DEC had broken into Dalisto’s home in Libala and seized six vehicles on Monday night.
