MASAITI PF MP Michael Katambo has defected to the UPND, and has endorsed President Hakainde Hichilema for the presidency in the August 13 general elections. Meanwhile, President Hichilema has urged electorates to cast their votes on 13th August if they wanted to continue with development under the UPND. Katambo, who is also former agriculture minister, has joined other PF MPs, independents, councillors and mayors among them Robert Chabinga, and Sunday Chanda, who have joined the UPND.
