THE Ministry of Defence has assured that the Zambia Defence Force will ensure the safety of all citizens during the August general elections. Ministry of Defence Permanent Secretary Mr Maambo Haamaundu says the military will not interfere in the elections, but will remain professional to ensure the electoral process is performed according to the law.
