POLICE in Mazabuka have arrested Bilden Shaloba, the alleged leader of the UPND cadres who attacked Gary Nkombo as he tried to file his nomination in Mazabuka, together with four others. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Graphel Musamba has condemned the violent incidents, and has directed police to act without fear or favour in dealing with all perpetrators of political violence and public disorder. On Wednesday, Nkombo was attacked in full view of police by the ruling party cadres in an attempt to block him from filing his nomination as an independent candidate for Mazabuka Central constituency.
