FIVE of the 10 male Ethiopians who were suspected to have drowned in the Zambezi River on Monday night while trying to cross into Botswana have been found alive. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said investigations and search of the remaining eight continued after two others were apprehended on Monday night. On July 14 at around 11:00 hours Charles Nambula in his capacity as an Immigration officer reported that suspected 10 male Ethiopians had drowned in the Zambezi river whilst illegally attempting to cross from the Zambian side into Botswana on July 13 at around 21:00 hours near Mwaanga village.
