PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has urged Vedanta Resources to expedite plans to invest in power generation to support its mining operations at Konkola Copper Mines (KCM). President Hichilema said this during a courtesy call paid on him by Vedanta Head of Strategy and Growth Pushpender Singla, to discuss further expansion and investment at KCM yesterday.
