THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has announced a temporary suspension of customs duty on specified wheat imports, effective from 1st to 30th September, 2026. ZRA adds that the approved imports amount to a combined 300,000 metric tonnes of wheat distributed among 26 specified companies. In a statement, ZRA Corporate Communications Manager Oliver Nzala said the suspension was limited to imports by Ministry of Agriculture permit holders, 26 specified companies, and to quantities approved in the Schedule.
