GOVERNMENT has revoked passports for Emmanuel Mwamba, Emmanuel Jay Banda and Binwell Mpundu, citing security reasons and national security concerns. Government has also canceled passports for former president Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Kaizer Zulu, South African based political historian Sishuwa Sishuwa and social media blogger Lillian Mutambo. Of the six individuals, Zulu has been on the run since June 2023, after he was charged with two counts of failing to appear before the nearest immigration officer and failing to surrender a diplomatic passport.
